EnDeAvOrS from the HeArT

Update 5/8/14 . .  Our home study should be making it's way to our agency tomorrow.  Hoping and praying we will get a quick turnaround and then it will make it's way to USCIS where we will apply for our I-800A.  Getting ever so much closer to bringing Ian Michael home (aka Keegan/Kevin).
We have new designs in our cards which I'll add to this post.  The polka dot/chevron stripe cards come in a bundle of 8 or 10.   A bundle of 8 is only $13.75 and a bundle of 10 is $15.75.   The bundle of 8 includes; 2 swan, 2 butterflies, 2 cats, 2 dogs.  The bundle of 10 includes 2 swans, 2 butterflies, 2 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 hearts.  We started out with the bundle of 8 and then Faith, out of the blue, just made the heart.  So we decides to add it.  We can also do
custom orders (ie. 8 hearts, 8 swans, etc.).  Just let us know.  The bracelets listed below that do not have "SOLD" underneath their caption are still available as well.   And then the solid cards listed at the bottom of the post are still available too.   These "endeavors from the heart" make great gifts.   And they also make great "thank you" cards too.   All cards are blank inside.  The new cards are added at the bottom of the post.

As we are getting closer to finishing our home study, we have fees that must be paid.  Not only to our home study agency, but will also need fees for filing our I-800A.  So we are continuing our
Endeavors From the Heart frenzy's.  All the items we're listing in this post were made by us with lots of love to help bring the newest member of our family home, Ian Michael.  For those who have
purchased from our previous frenzy's we can not thank you enough and appreciate it so very much.

I'm posting these items a little differently, all in one post (instead of separate posts).  If you are interested in one of the items, please comment with your e-mail and description of the item/#.   I will then e-mail the first person to comment and post that the item is "SOLD".   If you don't hear from me, then you'll know someone else posted first.  I generally check posts 2 to 3 times daily, however, it may take me a few hours as I work most days.  So I may not get to check until later at night.  So please bare with me.   Once I notify you,  payment can then be made through our "donate" button to the right which takes you directly to paypal.

All the bracelets listed are made with assorted beads including glass, silver color accent beads, and acrylic beads.   These are so cute.  I was able to find some different glass beads including the
"Bumble Bee" glass bead on the bracelet listed below.  All are on a stretchy band and the lengths are listed below each picture.  These are so cute layered.  I layer mine with thinner bracelets and bangles.  Not only are they cute, but they also start conversations.  And it's wonderful to share that these were made with lots of love to bring a special little boy home who is now "one less" orphan.

Please don't forget to leave your e-mail in the comments section with the items you are interested in so I can contact you.

I'm posting several pictures of the cards that are included in this frenzy.  They are bundled in a
set of 8 cards and include 2 butterfly's, 2 dresses, 2 swan, 2 lanterns and measure 6 1/4" X 4 1/2"    There are several patterns of the origami paper as well as several colors of cards so no two cards should be exactly alike except for maybe the lanterns.    Our daughter Faith loves creating origami projects and wanted to help so she folded and folded and folded these cute papers to come up with the dress, swan, and butterfly.  And she did a great job.  She also signed each one in the bottom right with her name, Faith, in character.
Each bundle will come to you with 8 cards, 8 envelopes, and tied with ribbon.   These can be used for any occasion as they are blank inside.  And I don't know about you, but I always need a card for a teacher, thank you, birthday, etc.   So we hope you will consider purchasing one of our origami card bundles.
They are only $13.75 and that includes shipping.    Please leave a comment with your e-mail and
I'll notify you.    We currently have 10 sets available.

These are the cards we've just added, polka dot/chevron stripes.  They come in a bundle of either 8 or 10.  The bundle of 10 has 2 hearts in addition to 2 swans, 2 butterflies, 2 cats, 2 dogs.   Don't forget to leave a comment with your e-mail and I'll get back with you.  If you are a friend on FB, you can pm me.  Here is the breakdown of costs again:

Origami Owl anyone?

As we are almost finished with the homestudy process, the wait just gets harder.  Little sweet Ian is waiting halfway around the world, yet he has no idea what's about to happen.  No idea that his life is about to change, no idea that he will have a forever mamma, no idea that he will be gaining 3 sisters and a brother, no idea that he will be forever loved, and no idea that he will come to know the love of Jesus!!!  Oh boy, are we ever excited.
As adoption is expensive and we just returned with our daughter Faith in 2012, we are creating unique gifts to help with the adoption costs.   And we currently have an Origami Owl fundraiser in progress thanks to Jacquelyn Long Smith!  Orders placed by April 30th will be received in time for Mother's Day and there are so many cute gift ideas on the site.   Here's the link

Photo: Wondering what to get someone for Mother's Day, teacher appreciation or graduation? Origami Owl creations make great gifts! I am donating 100% of my commission to Anita to help her bring home Ian. Orders placed by the 30th will arrive in time for Mother's Day. Don't forget to get something special for yourself too!

And don't forget, graduation is just right around the corner.
Thank you so much!!!

April 3rd update

Here's a quick update of where we are on our journey to bring our son Ian home.   We've been busy
checking the check list for all that is needed for our home study, including all those medical check-ups.   Those are completed, done, finished!!  As is everything else on the list.   Hoping and praying that our home study will be completed by the end of April and in our hands.

As with Faith's adoption, we are stepping out in faith that the funds will come.  That God will provide every penny needed to get our little guy home.  I've tried to be patient and not over zealous.  There are things that have been frustrating, like getting the e-mail that my prints were rejected.   Nope it's not fun to have to re-schedule, take a short road trip, and redo the prints, but it's necessary.  So we'll do it again!!!   The patient WAIT was bugging me today.  I needed to find scripture to help me with this hurdle.  And I found it:

"But those who wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint". Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)
